    Connect to a camera

    Your phone has to be on the same Wi‑Fi as the camera.

    How it connects
    • Android, Chrome: the camera’s IP address is enough. Chrome asks once whether iari.io may reach devices on your local network; choose Allow.
    • iPhone and iPad: every iOS browser blocks unencrypted local connections from a secure page, so the camera needs its secure name (wss://), for example acam.iari.io.
    • Private by design: the page talks straight to the camera. The stream never passes through the internet or through us; the address is kept only in this browser.
    • As an app: Share → Add to Home Screen (iPhone) or ⋮ → Install app (Android). It opens full screen and starts without internet.
